永宣宫廷造像是指在明代永乐和宣德年间,皇帝为了推行宗教政策,加强汉藏民族之间的团结和友谊,专门在宫中设立造像机构制作的藏式佛像。这批佛像以施赐的形式给予藏传佛教上层领袖,以达到归化人心、巩固边疆政权的目的。永宣造像的制作团队汇集了尼泊尔、西藏和汉地的能工巧匠,他们以藏传造像为蓝本,融入了汉地传统的表现手法和审美情趣,铸造出了具有汉藏艺术风格的新型佛教题
Yongxuan court statues refers to the Yongle and Xuande years in the Ming Dynasty, the emperor in order to promote religious policies and strengthen unity between Han and Tibetan peoples and friendship, specially set up in the palace statues made Tibetan Buddhist statues. These Buddhist statues are given to upper-class leaders of Tibetan Buddhism in the form of a gift to achieve the goal of naturalizing the people and consolidating the frontier regime. The production team of Yong Xuan made it a collection of skillful craftsmen in Nepal, Tibet and the Han dynasty. Based on Tibetan statues, they incorporated the traditional expressions and aesthetics in the Han Dynasty and created a new type of Buddhist theme with the artistic style of Han and Tibetan
