Secondary school is a crucial period for teenagers’ physical, intellectual and moral growth. This article explores how to use movies to engage students in discussions of moral dilemmas to promote students’ critical thinking and personality development. The author believes that the use of video teaching methods in the classroom can inspire students to reflect their own values and beliefs through moral dilemmas in popular films. In addition, the author also provides readers with texts on character education for use in secondary education. The focus of this essay is to provide teachers with an attractive and dynamic form of teaching to help secondary school students grow into responsible citizens.
