2012年10月18日,美国国防部出台新的《国防部航天政策》,取代了1999年发布的《国防部航天政策》。新政策是国防部对2010年《国家航天政策》的贯彻,以2011年《国家安全空间战略》为指南,旨在应对日益拥挤、对抗和竞争的空间环境带来的挑战,指导国防部军事空间力量建设。
On October 18, 2012, the U.S. Department of Defense issued a new Ministry of Defense spaceflight policy that superseded the Department of Defense spaceflight policy that was released in 1999. The new policy is the Ministry of National Defense’s implementation of the 2010 National Spaceflight Policy and the 2011 National Security Spatial Strategy as a guideline to meet the challenges posed by the increasing crowded, confrontational and competitive space environment and to guide the Ministry of Defense’s military space Strength building.
