江泽民同志在庆祝中国共产党成立 80周年大会上的讲话系统阐述了“三个代表”思想的科学内涵 ,深刻回答了党的建设所面临的重大理论和实践问题。贯彻“三个代表”思想对高等学校提出了新的更高的要求 ,对加强、改进高校党的建设和党对高校的领导也具有重要的指导意义。高校党组织应在贯彻“三个代表”要求的实践中加强和改进自身的建设 ,增强高校党组织的创造力、凝聚力和战斗力 ,贯彻科教兴国战略 ,充分发挥教育在经济建设和社会进步中的基础性作用 ,为发展先进生产力、繁荣先进文化作出贡献
