2005年12月12日,《人民日报》在显著位置刊发了记者马利、李舫采写的长篇通讯《植根在人民中间——追记全国优秀组工干部祁爱群》,在社会上引起强烈反响。中央领导同志作出重要批示,要求把祁爱群作为组织系统开展先进性教育的好榜样,把这篇通讯作为组工干部的好教材。人民日报的马利、李舫两位女记者,深入藏北高原,克服高原反应等许多困难,掌握了大量第一手材料,把祁爱群的崇高形象展现在广大读者面前。最近,人民日报编委会发出通报,表彰了马利、李舫两位同志牢记使命、不怕困难、敢于拼搏、无私奉献的崇高精神,深入实际、深入生活、深入群众的工作作风,刻苦钻研、精益求精、争创一流的职业风尚。本刊特约两位作者撰文谈体会,热切希望她们在这次重大典型采访中体现出的良好作风在新闻界发扬光大。
