亚细亚社会是古代社会的一种类型,传统中国就属于这种社会,自给自足的生产方式和血缘氏族/家族的生存方式是这一结构的基本经纬。在此基础上,农业文化就成为正统的中国传统文化,凡数千年中国之政治军事经济,都是农民意识的胸襟,各个地域文化都因此呈现出农业文明的厚重垒积之状。但是,扬州区域历史文化却是一个例外。扬州由于其独特的地理位置和交通条件,形成了奠定在市场基础的商业消费城市,并以其雄厚的经济实力支持了扬州先民的文化创造。它的城市文化性质与乡土中国的农民文化背景反差如此之大,致使其迭遭传统文人的指责。势利、俗气、轻扬就是古人心目中的扬州文化形象。而我们则认为,作为中国传统文化的区域构成部分,历史扬州商业性的城市文化正是中国传统文化资源中的现代性因素,是中国文化现代性转化的内在根据之一。
Asian society is a type of ancient society, and traditional China belongs to this society. The subsistence pattern of subsistence and subsistence clan / family is the basic latitude and longitude of this structure. On this basis, the agricultural culture has become orthodox Chinese traditional culture. All the political and military economy in China for thousands of years are the ideology of peasants. Therefore, all the regional cultures have thus shown the heavy weight of agricultural civilization. However, Yangzhou regional history and culture is an exception. Due to its unique geographic location and traffic conditions, Yangzhou formed a commercial consumer city based on the market and supported the cultural creation of Yangzhou ancestors with its abundant economic strength. The contrast between its urban cultural properties and the peasant cultural background of the native China is so great that it has been accused by traditional writers. Snobbish, cheesy, light Yang is the ancients Yangzhou cultural image. In our opinion, as a regional component of Chinese traditional culture, historical commercial culture in Yangzhou is a modern factor in Chinese traditional cultural resources and one of the intrinsic bases for the transformation of Chinese cultural modernity.
