The reservoir is a structural seal that traverses the eastern erosion margin of the salt dome of the Prairie formation in the Upper Ordovician Leofnaral segment. In the Westchewan area, salt fi lter leaching occurred during the late Mannville period, reversing the local reversal of the Genernal reservoir, slanted in the southwest. From a geophysical point of view, the Westhazel GP reservoir is characterized by a number of shallow Cretaceous oil reservoirs that are distributed
