The statistical distribution of presynaptic nerve terminal neurotransmitter release has been demonstrated on glycerol-treated muscle and clamp muscle specimens but has not yet been demonstrated in the isolated distally diaphragmatic specimens that we establish close to normal physiology nonuniform stretched muscle preparation, INSMP). The statistical nature of neurotransmitter release is the basis for calculating the neurotransmitter release parameters and is the basic data on INSMP.
