在实践中,我们使用下列方法保存甘汞电极。用时方便,检验结果不受影响,特介绍于下:即在浸泡玻璃电极的小烧杯(50ml)中;加放一个平底、高5cm、直径1.5cm的玻璃小管(或采用其他材料,只要与氯化钾不起化学反应即可)。内盛氯化钾的过饱和溶液,每次使用完毕后,将二电极用蒸馏水洗干净,将甘汞电极插入装有氯化钾过饱和溶液的小管中;玻璃电极同时浸在盛蒸馏水的烧杯中。用时,将二电极取出用蒸馏水冲洗干净,用搽镜纸或其他软料吸去附着的水分后,即可放在标准缓冲液中备用,随后洗净除水再测供试品。整个操作完成后,洗净并依上法保养。
