全国第二届古海洋学学术讨论会于1992年12月22—24日在青岛海洋地质研究所培训中心举行。来自全国海洋、地矿、石油、中科院和国家教委等系统18个单位的50多位专家、学者出席了会议,台湾大学地质系黄奇瑜教授专程从台北赶来参加了会议,并做了两次学术报告,受到与会者的热烈欢迎。 这次会议的目的是检阅国家自然科学基金委员会资助的古海洋项目;交流国内近年来在古海洋学、特别是南海晚第四纪古海洋学研究的系统成果;探讨我国古海洋学研究的方向、途径和方法,如何使古海洋学研究向第三纪或更老的年代拓展,使之更好地为油气助查和评价服务。国家自然科学基金委员会地球科学部海洋学科主任范元炳教授莅临大会,听取了汇报和介绍,并认为丛金委所资助的古海洋项目是成功的,尤其是由业治铮教授所主持完成的《南海第四纪古海洋学事件比较研究及其应用》重点项目更为突 The 2nd National Paleoceanographic Symposium was held at the Training Center of Qingdao Institute of Marine Geology from December 22 to December 24, 1992. More than 50 experts and scholars from 18 departments including the State Oceanic, Geological and Mineral Resources, Petroleum, Chinese Academy of Sciences and State Education Commission attended the conference. Prof. Huang Qiyu from Department of Geology, National Taiwan University made a special trip from Taipei to attend the conference and made two academic The report was warmly welcomed by the participants.
