中国持续增持日本国债,引起了日本各界的警觉;日元持续升值,更让日本政府感到紧张。事实上,中国增持日本国债与日元升值没有必然联系日本财务省9月8日公布,今年7月,中国对日本国债的净买入高达5831亿日元(约合69.7亿美元)。至此,中国已连续七个月增持日本国债。同日,日元对美元汇率创出十五年来新高。
China continues to increase its holdings of Japanese government bonds, arousing the vigilance of all walks of life in Japan; the continuous appreciation of the yen has even made the Japanese government nervous. In fact, there is no certain link between China’s increasing government bonds and the appreciation of the yen. Japan’s Ministry of Finance announced on September 8 that in July of this year, China’s net purchase of Japanese government bonds was as high as 583.1 billion yen (about 6.97 billion U.S. dollars). At this point, China has increased its holdings of Japanese government bonds for seven consecutive months. On the same day, the exchange rate of the Japanese yen against the U.S. dollar hit a new high in 15 years.
