高等职业教育是以培养应用型人才为目标,侧重培养适应生产、服务、管理第一线的需要,德、智、体全面发展的高级复合型应用人才。这是与通识教育理念不谋而合的,高职英语教学主要是为了培养学生听、说、读、写能力,以促进学生英语应用能力的发展。但当前高职院校的英语教学中还存在一些问题,本文旨在从通识教育理念的视角透视当前的英语教学,通过对教学中所存在问题的剖析,提出解决策略。
Higher vocational education is based on the training of applied talents as the goal, focusing on training to adapt to the production, service, management needs of the first line, moral, intellectual and physical development of advanced composite application personnel. This is consistent with the concept of general education, English teaching in higher vocational colleges is mainly to cultivate students listening, speaking, reading and writing ability to promote the development of students’ English proficiency. However, there are still some problems in the current English teaching of higher vocational colleges. The purpose of this paper is to look at the current English teaching from the perspective of general education philosophy and propose solutions to the problems existing in teaching.
