Paired study 142 cases of full-term infants, during birth measured umbilical artery and umbilical blood gas and acid-base analysis and electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) were observed. 71 cases of asphyxia infants with alkaline loss> 16mmol / L, 71 cases of alkaline deficiencies <8mmol / L. Asphyxia group was divided into neonatal encephalopathy and other organ system complications 5 days postpartum as mild asphyxia in 41 cases, moderate in 17 cases and severe in 13 cases. FHR recordings were taken every 10 minutes for a 4-hour prenatal period to quantify FHR-based
