基于对高职院校发展的反思和对其大学属性的认同,提出受严重“工具理性”等影响,高职院校一定程度上存在大学理想的缺失,这必将影响高职院校的可持续发展。高职院校要恪守“学术自由,人的发展”的大学理想的核心,克服过度功利主义倾向干扰,不断调整与社会发展的关系,以传承与超越的态度,通过培育大学理想意识、确立“以人为本”的教育观、科技教育与人文教育融通、繁荣校园文化孕育大学精神、完善制度建设等途径,逐步建构高职院校的大学理想。
