根据中国科协和美中学术交流委员会签订的协议,中美药理讨论会于1979年10月29日至31日在美国华盛顿举行。出席会议的中方代表10人,团长为宋振玉教授;美方代表30人,团长为 J.J.Burns 教授。会议的目的是交流两国在药理学特别是天然产物药理、神经药理、肿瘤化疗、药物发展和分析技术等方面的最新进展。会后我国药理代表团应邀在美国七个城市(华盛顿、纽约、纽海文、芝加哥、圣地亚哥、洛杉矶和旧金山)的19个单位(包括医药院校、研究所、药厂、医院等)进行了参观访问。现将会议概况和在参观访问中所了解到的美国药理学研究的一些动向分述于后。
According to the agreement signed by the China Association for Science and Technology and the U.S.-China Academic Exchange Committee, the Sino-U.S. Pharmacological Symposium was held in Washington, DC from October 29 to 31, 1979. There were 10 Chinese representatives present at the meeting, headed by Professor Song Zhenyu, 30 representatives from the United States and the head of delegation being Professor J.J.Burns. The purpose of the meeting was to exchange the latest developments in pharmacology, especially pharmacology of natural products, neuropharmacology, cancer chemotherapy, drug development and analysis technology. After the meeting, our pharmacological delegation was invited to 19 units (including medical institutions, research institutes, pharmaceutical factories, hospitals, etc.) in seven cities of the United States (Washington, New York, New Haven, Chicago, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco) Visit The current status of the meeting and some of the trends in the study of pharmacology in the United States that I learned during the visit are summarized below.
