生产力是一切社会进步发展的最终决定力量 ,生产力的发展取决要素的进步和现代化 ,取决于合理的生产方式。生产力的源泉是一切社会生产的基础 ,是经济社会发展的前提。小康社会的基本任务是发展生产力。然而 ,生产力的发展有它自身的规律性 ,单纯的经济增长、粗放式的生产 ,可能是生产力的增长 ,也可能是生产力的负增长。因此 ,坚持科学的发展观 ,遵循生产力经济规律、保护生产力源泉 ,是实现可持续发展的保证。
Productivity is the ultimate deciding force for the development of all social progress. The development of productive forces depends on the progress and modernization of factors and on the rational mode of production. The source of productivity is the foundation of all social production and the precondition of economic and social development. The basic task of a well-to-do society is to develop productive forces. However, the development of productivity has its own regularity. Pure economic growth and extensive production may be productivity growth or negative productivity growth. Therefore, adhering to the scientific concept of development, following the economic laws of productive forces and protecting the source of productive forces are the guarantees for achieving sustainable development.
