The Cu isotopic compositions of Cu-bearing sulfides in the Meso-Jurassic sedimentary sandstone and mudstone in the Lanping-Simao Basin are reported, and the δ65Cu values are found to be low, ranging from -3.70 ‰ ~ 0.30 ‰, which is obviously different from the high-temperature magmatic hydrothermal copper deposit (δ65Cu = -0.62 ‰ ~ 0.40 ‰) and the oceanic massive sulphide deposit (δ65Cu = -0.48 ‰ ~ 1.15 ‰). According to the results : Lower metallogenic temperature, different metallogenic sources, different metallogenic stages and organic matter incorporation may be responsible for the Cu isotopic fractionation of the gold-filled low-temperature hydrothermal vein-type copper deposits.
