The term reversed polarity plot introduced for Barrett’s previously used Harris describes the volume fraction P (α, β) of the material in different orientations with respect to the fiber axis in a fiber textured sample. The direction of the fiber axis with respect to the crystal lattice is dictated by two independent angular variables α and β. In such a graph, P gives the distribution of fiber axis densities for each of the different crystallographic directions. P (α, β) can be given in the two-dimensional map using the mid-intensity projection of extreme red-plane projection (P = constant). Anti-polar map put
