作者对Steno Memorial医院连续门诊六个月以上的男性胰岛素依赖型糖尿病病人:年龄在30～50岁间,除胰岛素外未使用过其它药物,经常规12导联心电图检查正常且无心肺疾病共75例进行研究。按患者病程长短分成三组:组Ⅰ病程0～9年共20例,组Ⅱ10～19年共21例,组Ⅲ20～40年共34例。各组间胰岛素需要量和24小时尿糖定量值均无差别。并与28例无糖尿病家族史、年龄与糖尿病各组相同的男性健康者相对照。
