自从有了机器印刷出版以及新兴出版产业的支撑,20世纪的文化记忆,基本上是在写作-出版的产业链上积淀累进。从记忆的研究视角来思考现代出版对于20世纪中国文化记忆的影响,商务印书馆可以作为一个具有标志性意义的研究个案来加以展现。商务印书馆本身,不仅生产文化记忆,也创造了诸多文化记忆的形式。如何将变动的个体经验汇入到集体记忆之中,为集体记忆注入新鲜血液,这是文化记忆研究要回答的问题。商务印书馆正是以打造新的集体记忆的方式来推进了民族文化的现代化进程。
Since the printing and publishing of machines and the support of emerging publishing industries, the cultural memory of the 20th century has basically accumulated in the writing-publishing industry chain. Considering the influence of modern publishing on the memory of Chinese culture in the 20th century from the perspective of the study of memory, the Commercial Press can be presented as a landmark case study. The Commercial Press itself not only produced cultural memories, but also created many forms of cultural memories. How to transfer the changed individual experience into the collective memory and inject fresh blood into the collective memory is a question to be answered in the study of cultural memory. The Commercial Press promoted the process of modernization of national culture by means of creating a new collective memory.
