新准则对债务重组的定义是：“债务重组，是指在债务人发生财务困难的情况下，债权人按照其与债务人达成的协议或者法院的裁定作出让步的事项。”如果单纯从理论角度探讨，该定义似乎无可厚非，但在具体的会计实践中该定义对债务重组界定会留下一些我们很难处理的问题，主要体现在以下两方面：
