特早熟棉区包括晋中、吕梁地区和晋城市的郊区、阳城等县区,海拔700～900米左右,年均气温10℃,无霜期165～180天。近几年该棉区因为采用“大群体,小个体抗逆栽培技术”,出现了许多高产典型,1994年文水县西曹头乡科技副乡长赵夏林同志指导的6000亩棉花“181”工程田中,有1000亩亩产达到100公斤;汾阳县演武镇农民技术员穆汾平指导的200亩丰产方,平均亩产100公斤。平遥县棉农刘和平1994年植棉3.6亩,平均亩产135公斤。

Pingyao County cotton farmers Liu Heping 1994 cotton 3.6 acres, an average yield of 135 kg.
