我回到北京后,发现设计院整个都在沸腾中,和其它地方(指大学和机关等有大批知识分子的地方,不含工厂、农村)一样。大家都在踊跃地提出各种批评意见,有时候在自己小组里,有时候通过院子里贴的大字报,在布告栏上越贴越多。我于是尽量地把自己不在的三个星期里所发生的事情都记载下来。 When I returned to Beijing I noticed that the Design Institute was boiling all over the place, in the same way as other places (where there were a large number of intellectuals such as universities and institutions, excluding factories and rural areas). Everyone is enthusiastically making various criticisms. Sometimes, in their own groups, sometimes posters are posted on the bulletin boards. So I try my best to keep track of what happened during the three weeks I was away.
