博物馆简介 印度空军博物馆(Indian Air ForceMuseum)座落于德里近郊的帕尔姆空军基地(Palam AB)内,由一座前英国皇家空军的旧机棚改建而成。在入口处的大厅当中,展示了印度尚未独立前的驻印英国皇家空军历史,以及独立后印度空军的发展沿革,展示的内容包括了:模型、照片、重要纪事、制服和武器等等,从1913年开始在印度成立的驻印英国皇家空军,对日后的印度空军建军过程有极深远的影响,一直到1933年,在经过长远12年的努力之后,印度人才终于有了展馆展示自己的空军。
About the Museum The Indian Air Force Museum is located in the Palam AB suburb of Delhi, converted from an old British Royal Air Force hangar. In the lobby at the entrance, the history of the RAF in India before independence and the development of the Indian Air Force after Independence were demonstrated. The exhibition includes models, photos, important chronicle, uniforms and weapons, etc. The RAF, established in India in 1913, had a profound impact on the future process of building up the Indian Air Force. Until 1933, after 12 long-term hard efforts, Indian talents finally showed themselves in the pavilion Air Force.
