本文以移民瑞士华人女性的微信使用情况为例,从跨国迁移E化的角度深度解析数字新媒体对移民群体身份构建的影响。微信的使用不仅成为21世纪数字文化背景下海外华人与故国亲友保持联系的主要媒介,同时成为很多海外华人女性在当地社会就业市场不利条件下经济发展的工具,而且微信化的华人社区现象又在某种意义上满足了海外华人寻求自我归属感的依托。文章同时试图从华人移民群体身份构建与发展的视角展示了数字新媒体在跨国迁移中被民族化的现象。
This paper takes the WeChat usage of Chinese immigrants in Switzerland as an example to deeply analyze the impact of digital new media on the identity construction of immigrant groups from the perspective of transnational migration. The use of WeChat is not only the main medium for overseas Chinese to keep contact with their relatives and friends in the digital culture in the 21st century, but also serves as a tool for many overseas Chinese women to develop their economy under unfavorable conditions in the local social employment market. Moreover, In a sense, it satisfies the overseas Chinese’s desire to seek self-belonging. At the same time, the article attempts to demonstrate the nationalization of digital new media in transnational migration from the perspective of the identity construction and development of Chinese immigrant groups.
