用折射近场技术可直接测量光纤折射率分布而不必计算或者修正。它的样品制备简单,测量不受纤维端面老化影响。漏泄模对测量结果无任何贡献。这种方法可用于测量多模和单模纤维,它不仅给出纤维的折射率分布,也给出纤维的数值孔径以及芯和包层的直径、芯的园正度和椭园度。所以,这种方法克服了其它方法的缺点,并给出更多的测量数据。本文详细介绍了这种方法的原理和实际的实验情况,给出多模纤维和单模纤维的一些典型结果。
Using refractive near-field technology can directly measure the fiber refractive index distribution without having to calculate or correction. Its sample preparation is simple, the measurement is not affected by the aging of the fiber end face. Leakage mode does not contribute to the measurement results. This method can be used to measure multimode and singlemode fibers, which gives not only the refractive index profile of the fiber, but also the numerical aperture of the fiber and the diameter of the core and cladding, the core’s gardenia and the ellipticity. So, this method overcomes the shortcomings of other methods and gives more measurement data. This paper details the principle of this method and the actual experimental situation, gives some typical results of multimode fiber and singlemode fiber.
