本文系对我国英美文学研究界著名学者、南京大学人文社会科学资深教授王守仁先生的访谈.访谈回顾了王守仁教授对现实主义特别是战后现实主义全面深入的研究以及取得的重要成果.王守仁教授在评介国外当代现实主义研究的进展之后,呼吁突破对十九世纪经典现实主义的传统研究范式,关注当代现实主义的发展.他阐述了“现实主义转向”对我们开展文学研究的意义和影响,并分析了现实主义永葆其鲜活生命力的原因.
