在艰苦卓绝的抗日战争中所形成的抗战精神是中华民族传统精神的凝聚与升华,而作为抗战精神重要组成部分的民族团结意识在抗战中发挥了重要作用。自古以来,团结统一的“大一统”情怀是抗战时期民族团结意识形成的根源;抗日民族统一战线是民族团结意识形成的基础。抗战时期民族团结意识具体表现为两个战场,相互配合;民主党派,协力御侮;兄弟民族,携手为国;华夏子孙,各尽其力。抗战时期民族团结意识具有空前的广泛性、无比的坚韧性与伟大的前瞻性等特点。
