本文旨在分析影响全球性高等教育需求的某些趋势,描述目前学术界对组织结构进行改革的推动力,探讨在20世纪的远程教育变革历程。通过对阿萨巴斯卡大学商业学院的个案研究,阐述了技术革新与远程院校的组织结构特征的结合,能为全球大学教育提供更有效的教育模式,并让我们重新认识这一学术领域。在这一变革过程中,不同的大学并不需要放弃自己独有的特征。
The purpose of this article is to analyze some of the trends that affect the needs of global higher education, to describe the current impetus for the reform of the organizational structure in academia and to explore the course of change in distance education in the 20th century. A case study of the Faculty of Business at the University of Athabasca elaborated on the combination of technological innovation and the organizational characteristics of remote institutions to provide a more effective model of education for global university education and allow us to revisit this academic area . In this process of change, different universities do not need to give up their own unique characteristics.
