《历史教学》1962年第1期刊登了张一纯同志的《关于天理教起义二三事》一文,其中论及天理教领袖李文成和冯克善的关系问题。张文说,在天理教起义前夕“李冯矛盾已很尖锐,已经酿成分裂”。在革命爆发后,进行武装斗争期间,冯克善闹分裂出走,“这是起义招致失败的重要原因之一”。这个论断的根据是《靖逆记》上这样一段话:“(林)清与文成欲分割燕豫,(冯)克善欲据德州,以扼南北,乃往会(其大弟子)宋跃漋,语之曰:‘……林清多大言,少实际,李文成阴险叵测,吾意不乐与林李共事,
