社会的不断进步,使得电脑越来越多地进入到人们的生活中,影响无处不在。多媒体作为一项新兴事物,也开始在英语教学中起到不可忽视的作用,越来越多的英语教师的青睐在教学中加入多媒体因素。一时之间,能否使用多媒体教学也成为了衡量一个教师是否优秀,是否优越于其他教师的一个重要标准。于是乎,不管是什么内容,不管什么课型,都必须用上多媒体。公开课若不用多媒体,就一定是一个失败的案例,这样的理念在教师中弥漫开来。事实真是如此吗?笔者认为,多媒体若利用的好,会成为我们教学上的一把利器,若使用不当,也会成为教学过程中的一块绊脚石。在英语教学中,我们应该好好地利用多媒体这个现代化的教学工具,让多媒体与传统的英语教学协调发展,相辅相成,要让多媒体更好地为英语教学服务。
The continuous improvement of the society makes the computer more and more enter the people’s life, the influence is everywhere. As an emerging thing, multimedia has also begun to play a non-negligible role in English teaching. More and more English teachers are favoring multimedia in teaching. For a time, the ability to use multimedia teaching has also become an important criterion for measuring whether a teacher is good and superior to other teachers. So, no matter what the content, no matter what type of course, must use multimedia. Open class without multimedia, it must be a failure of the case, such a concept filled with teachers. Is this really true? The author believes that if multimedia is utilized well, it will become a sharp weapon in our teaching. If used improperly, it will also become a stumbling block in the teaching process. In English teaching, we should make good use of the modern multimedia teaching tools to make multimedia and traditional English teaching coordinated development, complement each other, to make multimedia better serve English teaching.
