INTRODUCTION Since Levi’s pioneering paper was published in 1952, anthropologists and scholars working on migrants in Mexico City have been dedicated to exploring the collective strategies adopted by foreigners to settle down in cities. As a result, although some of these studies have been successful, few have been able to provide a general guideline for the analysis of the survey. In general, there are very few exceptions, one of which is the study of the Mystoke indigenous peoples moving to Mexico City. Their hometown is Saujatepec in the state of Oaxaca. After analyzing, Olalaya put forward three factors that discuss the formation, existence and disintegration of alien groups (referring to the resident groups) in this city. He also suggested that these three factors should be done from the “overall urban settlement” category
