选别充填法是一种适合于开采狭小金属矿脈的开采方法。它是利用脈石和围岩特性的不同,将脈石和围岩分别采下,在窿内进行选别,并将全部(或大部)围岩当作充填材料。目前在钨矿系统中已广泛推行这种方法。选别充填法的优点:一、利用两盤岩石间有一盤较软和脈石与围岩之间有明显的接触面,在爆破时能够顺利地将脈石和围岩分开,矿石的贫化率低,适合于窿内选别作业。二、工作盤可用充填材料来代替,充填材料上面还铺有木板(或竹片)、棕垫(或蔴包)等,为凿岩作业,选别作业创造了有利条件。三、矿石随采随出,而全部(或大部)废石不出窿,用作充填材料。
