11月4日,海峡两岸关系协会会长陈云林与海峡交流基金会董事长江丙坤在台北就两岸海运直航、平日包机、邮政、食品安全等四项议题签署了协议。其中,《海峡两岸海运协议》、《海峡两岸空运协议》、《海峡两岸邮政协议》的签署,将使两岸同胞渴望了30年之久的两岸直接通航、通邮变为现实,为两岸人员往来和经济合作开辟便捷的路径,从而增进两岸人民福祉,带动两岸关系发展进入新的阶段。上述协议将于签署之日起40日内生效。
On November 4, Chen Yunlin, president of the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait, and Jiang Zhiping, chairman of the Taiwan Straits Exchange Foundation, signed an agreement in Taipei on four topics including cross-Strait direct shipping, charter flights on weekdays, postal services and food safety. Among them, the signing of the “Cross-Strait Maritime Agreement,” “Cross-Strait Agreement on Air Transport,” and the signing of the “Post Agreement on Both Sides of the Taiwan Strait” will enable the compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to long for 30 years of direct cross-Strait navigation and postal correspondence, Economic cooperation opens up a convenient path so as to enhance the well-being of people on both sides of the Strait and promote the development of cross-Strait relations to a new stage. The above agreement will take effect within 40 days from the date of signature.
