我们从1959年开始搞耐旱小麦杂交育种工作,二十年来,先后育成了一些耐旱的小麦良种,已在生产上推广应用的有晋中520、旱选1号、旱选2号、旱选3号和旱选10号等。尚在试验示范的耐旱新品系有吕旱196、吕旱671、吕旱328、吕旱479等。其中以旱选10号(晋麦5号)利用年限长、推广面积大,表现稳定丰产,在山西省北部晚熟冬麦区山旱地上已基本普及,种植面积达200余万亩。回顾我们选育耐旱小麦品种的历程,试从理论上加以概括,提出来和同志们共同讨论。一、根据生态条件确定育种目标
