為慶祝五一國際勞動節,中國人民政協全國委員會在四月二十九日下午三時半,在北京召集了四千五百餘人的幹部紀念大會。大會主席台上端高懸馬克思、恩格斯、列寧、斯大林畫像,正中懸有毛澤東主席像和中華人民共和國國旗。大會由全國委員會周恩來副主席任主席。大會開始時,樂隊高奏中華人民共和國國歌和國際歌。中央人民政府劉少奇副主席在會上作了長篇講話。
To celebrate Labor Day International Day, the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference convened a cadre of over 4,500 cadres in Beijing at 3.30 pm on April 29. At the top of the podium of the General Assembly is the portrait of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin hung with the image of Chairman Mao Zedong and the flag of the People’s Republic of China in the middle. The conference is chaired by Vice Chairman Zhou Enlai of the National Committee. At the beginning of the conference, the band sang the national anthems and international songs of the People’s Republic of China. Vice Chairman Liu Shaoqi of the Central People’s Government made a long speech at the meeting.
