会展经济是以会展业为支撑的一种经济。会展经济具有桥梁、窗口、展台、连带等功能,在促进地方的商品流通、技术交流、信息沟通及经贸合作等方面发挥着重要作用。政府在促进会展经济发展中,应抓住加强宏观引导,培育世界级的会展中心;科学规划场馆建设,合理布局;着力打造名牌展会;制定完善相关法律法规等重点。
MICE economy is an economy supported by MICE industry. The exhibition economy has such functions as bridges, windows, booths, and exhibitions, and plays an important role in promoting the circulation of commodities, technical exchanges, information and communication and economic and trade cooperation in local areas. In promoting the development of convention and exhibition economy, the government should seize the opportunity of strengthening macro-guidance and fostering a world-class convention and exhibition center. Scientifically plan the construction of venues and a rational layout; strive to build famous exhibitions; and formulate and perfect related laws and regulations.
