The “light” and “heavy” of the painting We know that in the time of the Lautrec, photos became popular. Courbet and Manet once used the reference pictures for painting. The advent of photography has forced painters to question the aesthetic training of one of the main aims of the realistic painting in the past. Easy access to detail does provide convenience for painting, but also raises or defines the difficulty of drawing. What exactly is the painting that we need and pursue? What is the relationship between the detail shown in the photograph and the details required for the painting? What are the essential differences between the authenticity of the photograph and the authenticity of the painting?
