INTRODUCTION Essential thrombocythemia (ET) belongs to a family of related disorders characterized by uncontrolled cell growth, named myeloproliferative diseases (MPD), including polycythemiavera (PV) and primary myelofibrosis (PMF).The presenting features of ET canrange from being asymptomatic to thrombohemorrhagic complications.Here, we report a case of ET accompanied by acute myocardium infraction (AMI) and gastrointestinal bleeding.The diagnosis and treatment of ET will also be discussed.
