一、建立选拔任用干部工作巡视制度的必要性 巡视,是指上级机关指派人员到下属地区、单位检查工作。选拔任用干部工作巡视,主要是对各级党委(党组)、组织人事部门、各级领导干部执行《党政领导干部选拔任用工作暂行条例》和选拔任用干部工作方面的情况进行监督检查,是融干部工作事前、事中、事后监督为一体的有效措施。全国组织工作会议指出,“要把党内监督与群众监督、舆论监督,定期检查与经常检查结合起来,不断拓宽检查监督的渠道。要建立监督工作巡视制度。选择一些政治上强、公道正派、敢于坚持原则、熟悉干部工作的老同志或一定级别的现职干部,担任干部监督工作巡视员,深入地方或部门,了解《条例》
