柴油机在运用时,必须通过冷却,因为柴油机工作时的燃烧温度可高达2000℃左右。若不加冷却,则柴油机的零件刚度将因受热下降;运动件将由于膨胀不一致而被咬死;气缸内的充气系数下降而功率降低;润滑油膜破坏而磨损加剧,所以必须加以冷却。对于水冷柴油机,最合适的水温是75℃~95℃。 但到冬天宿车时,冷却水则必须放掉。否则将造成严重的损失,使机体或缸套、水泵炸裂。在冬天机内冷却水能把柴油机炸裂,是因为水的反常膨胀所致。水在温度变化的情况下,不是
