一、前言 稀土离子在固体中的发光现象早已为人们所注目,并开展了广泛深入的研究。目前,以稀土化合物为基质或以稀土元素掺杂的各种发光材料已获得广泛的应用,成为固体发光材料的重要方面。稀土离子谱线丰富,采用不同的稀土离子或稀土离子的不同组合,可以得到从可见到红外这一宽阔频段发射光谱,并且可望得到高效率。从而显示了巨大的生命力。除各种发光粉外,稀土掺杂的固体发光薄膜材料也显示了高亮度、高效率。稀土掺杂的晶体材料的研究工作也正在开展。
