根据《高等学校英语专业教学大纲》,《基础英语》这门课的定位是一门综合英语技能课,其主要目的在于培养和提高学生听、说、读、写、译等综合技能运用能力。整合式学习理论为实现这一目标奠定了理论基础,在整合式学习理论视阈中学习被定义为是认知与情感互动,同时受到社会技能发展制约的一种过程。所以,学习并不仅仅等于知识/技能的获得,而应该换包括情感,认知能力的提升。而现有的课程教学模式显然无法达到这一目标。因此,本文从英语专业学生基础较差,交际能力薄弱的实际出发,从语法教学法,交际能力培养,思辨能力训练,课堂内外资源的整合利用几个方面开展项目实施,探索并建立具备我校特色的英语专业教学模式,为国家及我省培养合格的英语专业人才进行教学改革探索。
According to Syllabus for College English Courses, the orientation of Basic English is a comprehensive English skill course whose main purpose is to cultivate and improve students’ abilities of comprehensive skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. The theory of integrated learning lays a theoretical foundation for achieving this goal. Learning is defined as the process of interaction between cognition and emotion while being restricted by the development of social skills in the perspective of integrated learning theory. Therefore, learning does not mean just getting knowledge / skills, but should include emotional, cognitive improvement. However, the existing curriculum teaching model obviously can not achieve this goal. Therefore, based on the fact that English majors have poor foundation and poor communicative competence, this paper starts with the implementation of grammar teaching method, communicative competence cultivation, speculative ability training and the integration and utilization of internal and external resources in class. Characteristics of English teaching model for the country and our province to train qualified English professionals to explore teaching reform.
