高等职业教育近些年来发展迅速,但是在高职教育中也存在着一定的问题。其中,忽视学生的人文素质培养就是其中之一。英语作为一门重要的公共课,人文资源丰富,学生覆盖面广,是高职教学中进行素质教育的重要平台。英语教育工作者应该从自身教育理念的转变、人文素质的提高,以及对教材内容的深度挖掘,运用现代化教学手段以及帮助开展丰富的课外活动等方面提升对学生人文素质的教育。
Higher vocational education has developed rapidly in recent years, but there are still some problems in higher vocational education. Among them, ignoring the cultivation of students’ humanistic qualities is one of them. As an important public lesson, English is rich in human resources and has a wide coverage of students. It is an important platform for quality education in higher vocational education. English educators should improve their humane education in terms of the transformation of their own educational philosophy, the improvement of humanistic quality, the deep excavation of teaching materials, the application of modern teaching methods and the promotion of extracurricular activities.
