有人看见孔子不停奔波最终似乎只是一场徒劳,便摇头轻叹:“‘知其不可而为之’,其精神固然可嘉,但未可学也。”在他们心中,人就应该像苟子所认为的那样“必须在应当努力的地方努力”。这似乎也有一定的道理。但孔子的“知其不可而为之”毕竟体现着一种锲而不舍的精神和强烈的责任意识。如此一来,我们是否就应当遵从于苟子的“人必须在应当努力的地方努力”而置孔子“知其不可而为之”的精神与责任于不顾呢?我想,对于孔子追求的普世之道,他那“知其不可而为之”的偏执是

I think for The universal way Confucius pursues is his paranoia of “knowing what it can not do”
