贵州话属西南官话区。据调查,使用西南官话的人大约有两亿,主要分布在云南、贵州、四川、湖北、广西、湖南等省份。西南官话又分立11个片,贵州话分属其中四个片。它们是:①黔北片,其中包括贵州北部的遵义、水城等27个县市。②昆贵片,其中包括贵州省的贵阳、安顺等20个县市。③岑江片,其中包括贵州东南部岑巩、施秉等12个县。④黔南片,包括贵州南部凯里、都匀、贵定等15个县市。 由于贵州话属官话区,因此,贵州使用汉语的人听懂并使用普通话并不很困难。这两种语言的语法系统
Guizhou dialect is a Southwest Mandarin area.
