石英多芯型传象光纤(SMIF)是近几年国际上开始研究的一种传象用特种光纤.与多组分传象光纤束相比,它具有分辨率高、透光率好、几何尺寸小、可传输距离长和耐高温、高压及耐辐射等优点,广泛应用于国防、工业、医疗等领域。笔者利用国产设备,采用MCVD工艺和二次复合工艺,在1987年6月研制成功了多元结构SMIF光纤.其象素个数分别为5×10~3,10×10~3,15×10~3,20×10~3,30×10~3等,长度为20—50m,光纤直径为0.5—1.5mm,分辨率达到每mm60—70线对,弯曲半径为50—150mm.
Quartz multicore imaging optical fiber (SMIF) is a kind of imaging special optical fiber which is researched in the world in recent years.Compared with multi-component imaging optical fiber bundle, SMIF has the advantages of high resolution, good light transmittance, Small size, long transmission distance and high temperature, high pressure and radiation resistance, etc., are widely used in national defense, industrial, medical and other fields. The author made use of domestic equipment, the use of MCVD technology and the second composite process, in June 1987 successfully developed a multi-structure SMIF fiber.The number of pixels were 5 × 10 ~ 3, 10 × 10 ~ 3, 15 × 10 ~ 3, 20 × 10 ~ 3, 30 × 10 ~ 3, etc. The length is 20-50m, the diameter of the optical fiber is 0.5-1.5mm, the resolution reaches 60-70 pairs per mm, the bending radius is 50-150mm.
