学校体育是党的教育方针的一个重要组成部分,它对于培养德、智、体全面发展的一代新人和增强整个中华民族的体质关系极大.当前,在党的工作着重点向社会主义现代化转移的新形势下,搞好学校体育工作,提高体育教学质量已提到日程上.为此,从1978年上半年到1979年5月,我们先后在北京、河北、江苏、上海、等地117所学校,观看了210堂中小学体育课.对课程的内容结构、组织教学和教学效果等方面做了记录和统计;对部分学生作了心率遥测,测定了体育课的运动
