现代制冷技术近年在我国已经得到广泛的应用,甚至已普及到千家万户。制冷技术具有保鲜、冷藏、干燥、杀虫、降温、去湿、净化、医疗等多种功能。近年,北京图书馆图书保护研究组等单位又研究成功了应用冷冻技术防治图书害虫,获得了成功,得到了专家的高度评价,专家在《鉴定意见》中指出: 低温技术应用于图书档案杀虫具有效果好、不污染环境、使用安全等优点。本课题选题合理,主攻方向明确,取得了大量的数据,在我国图书档案系统首先提出使用低温杀虫技术,有明显的社会效益。研究和实践证明,冷冻杀灭书虫具有杀虫效果好,不污染环境、安全简便、对图书制成材料无不良影响等优点,目前已在部分图书馆档案馆推广应用。有
