在机车的走行性能和车轮与轨道的关系方面,十几年来在西德进行了大量的理论研究和试验研究。这种研究是全国范围内行业上的共同事业,它由五家公司联合进行。理论上的研究,主要是推导出轮对与钢轨之间相互作用的数学模型,进行了大规模的计算机计算分析。试验研究方面分为三种类型:1)滚动试验台:在两个相对滚动的金属体上,模拟车轮与钢轨的工作条件,进行过程的物理上的基础研究。
